MANILA – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) agents have arrested four suspects and confiscated PHP34 million worth of shabu during an anti-illegal drug operation in Caloocan City.

In a statement on Monday, the PDEA said the suspects, with aliases Al, 39; Sammy, 22; Amy, 19; and Ferds, 18. were arrested in a buy-bust operation at Abel St., Kingstown 2 in Caloocan City on Sunday evening.

The law enforcers confiscated five kilograms of suspected shabu contained in yellow-gold foil packs labeled “Guanyinwang”, cellular phones, a vehicle, buy-bust money, and identification cards.

The four suspects will be charged with violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, before the Caloocan City Prosecutor’s Office. (PNA)
