MANILA – Police officers and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) agents seized PHP3.4 million worth of shabu from an alleged high-value target (HVT) in Quezon City.

In a statement Monday, PDEA said the 30-year-old suspect alias Jahid, a resident of Barangay 190, Pasay City, was nabbed during a sting operation in Barangay San Bartolome, Novaliches, Quezon City at about 10:25 a.m. Sunday.

Seized from the suspect were 500 grams of shabu and other non-drug evidence.

The suspect will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (PNA)
