MANILA – Creamline tries to keep its immaculate record when it battles Farm Fresh in the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference preliminary round on Tuesday at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City.

The Cool Smashers face the Foxies at 6:30 p.m.

Creamline downed Chery Tiggo, 25-17, 25-17, 25-21, last Feb. 6 to remain unbeaten after eight games.

The three-time All-Filipino champion Cool Smashers will be spearheaded by Jema Galanza, Bernadeth Pons, Tots Carlos, Michele Gumabao and Alyssa Valdez.

“Our win against Chery Tiggo in three sets was a big deal. The team’s confidence is high, but of course, knowing Farm Fresh, they also have veteran recruits mixed with young players. They’re also showing a good performance this conference, so we will prepare well. I think it will be a great match,” said Creamline head coach Sherwin Meneses on Monday.

After Farm Fresh, Creamline will take on PLDT on Feb. 15 and the Galeries Tower on Feb. 20.

The Foxies, sporting a 4-5 record in ninth place, will rely on Jolina Dela Cruz, Trisha Tubu, Rizza Cruz, Aly Bertolano, and Caitlyn Viray.

Meanwhile, Petro Gazz and Capital1 square off at 4 p.m.

The Angels seek to extend their six-game winning run, the last one over the ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles, 25-20, 24-26, 28-26, 25-22, last Feb. 4.

The Capital1 Solar Spikers, on the other hand, hope to end a five-game slump. (PNA)
