MANILA – Philippine National Police (PNP) anti-drug operatives arrested three suspects and seized PHP14.4 million worth of illegal drugs in separate operations in Makati City and Cebu province.
In a report, National Capital Region Police Office chief Brig. Gen. Anthony Aberin said the suspects, with aliases Wewel, 28, and Madam, 28, were arrested in a buy-bust operation at a condominium in Barangay San Antonio, Makati City at about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Confiscated from them were 1.3 kg. of shabu worth PHP8.84 million, mobile phones and buy-bust money.
The two will be charged with violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, before the Makati City Prosecutor’s Office.
Meanwhile, PNP Drug Enforcement Group acting chief Col. Rolando Cuya said the suspect, alias Arman, 43, classified as a high value individual, was arrested in a buy-bust at Barangay Mantuyom, Mandaue City, Cebu at around 12:36 a.m. Thursday.
Seized from the suspect was 825 grams of suspected shabu valued at PHP5.6 million and other non-drug items. (PNA)
