MANILA – Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives have arrested a female high-value individual (HVI) and seized from her around PHP3.74 million worth of shabu in Laguna.
In a statement on Friday, the PDEA said its joint forces and Calamba City police arrested alias Irene, 42, in a buy-bust operation in Purok 3, Bucal, Calamba City at around 5 p.m. March 27.
The suspect yielded eight packs of shabu weighing around 550 grams of suspected shabu worth PHP3.74 million.
The evidence has been submitted to the PDEA laboratory for chemical analysis and proper disposition.
The suspect is detained at the local PDEA facility and would face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. (PNA)
