CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – The Police Regional Office-Central Luzon (PRO-3) apprehended all top 10 regional most wanted persons the past two days, an official said Tuesday.
In a news release, PRO-3 Director Brig. Gen. Jess Mendez said nine are rape suspects, while one violated the Anti-Child Pornography Act.
“This is not a one-time success. It reflects the culture we are building in PRO-3 — focused execution, coordinated intelligence, and immediate action,” Mendez said in a statement.
He said the campaign against wanted persons is a top operational priority, particularly in cases of serious crimes that directly affect community safety and the protection of vulnerable sectors.
“Our mandate under the PNP Focused Agenda is clear: Decisive enforcement, strengthened internal discipline and measurable results. When we say we will pursue wanted persons, we pursue them relentlessly,” Mendez said.
PRO-3 will continue to strengthen its warrant service operations through improved case monitoring systems and stronger coordination among police units. (PNA)
