When the “Veep” star stands up to receive the award for best actress in a comedy, the “Breaking Bad” actor rushes over to her and gives her a passionate kiss on the lips. Upon reaching the podium, Julia Louis-Dreyfus attempts to explain: “Yeah, he was on ‘Seinfeld.'”

Billy Crystal’s tribute to Robin Williams
As the world continues to grieve the star’s death, his friend Billy Crystal delivered a moving monologue in his honor, followed by a series of clips. Sincere, moving and of course funny, the piece was a fitting tribute to Robin Williams, whose “brilliance was astounding,” in Crystal’s words.

Julia Roberts handed over the trophy for best actor in a drama to the “Breaking Bad” star. Very moved, he thanked the drama’s creator Vince Gilligan, but also his “dear friend” Aaron Paul and his “television wife” Anna Gunn, for whom he thanked “especially [for] those scenes in bed.”

The TV host and comedian claimed the Emmy for best variety series for his comedy news show “The Colbert Report.” Parodying some of the winners who are less accustomed to appearing on camera, he whispered his acceptance speech to Jimmy Fallon.
