Wanda Sykes joins the cast of ‘Mother/Daughter’

Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn are getting a new co-star for their upcoming movie “Mother/Daughter,” in the form of Wanda Sykes.

The actress will play the part of a hotel worker who offers advice to the mother-daughter duo played by Hawn and Schumer,Deadline reports.

Scripted by “Ghostbusters” writer Katie Dippold and directed by Jonathan Levine, the film also features “The Mindy Project” cast member Ike Barinholtz.

Writer, actress and comedian Sykes is known for her appearances in multiple TV shows. In 1999 she won a Primetime Emmy Award for her scriptwriting work on “The Chris Rock Show.”
