MANILA, Oct 28 (Mabuhay) –Vice President Leni Robredo and her staff have tested negative for COVID-19, her office announced on Wednesday.

The Office of the Vice President made the announcement three days after Robredo said that she and members of her staff are on self-quarantine following an exposure to a COVID-19 patient.

Robredo thanked the well-wishers in a separate statement.

“All of the OVP staff who were exposed last week tested negative. Thank God. All the activities today and the succeeding days will proceed as scheduled,” she said.

In her radio show over the weekend, Robredo said they were supposed to visit Lucena City and Caloocan this week but had to cancel it. She said all her activities would push through online.

After Robredo announced that she and her staff were on self-quarantine, Malacañang issued a short statement wishing her good health.  (MNS)
