TELEVISION host and comedian Vic Sotto said the competition between his film and the movie of then co-star Ai-Ai delas Alas in the upcoming 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) will be “healthy.”

This December, Vic and Senator Bong Revilla will share the big screen with Kapamilya actress Judy Ann Santos in “Si Agimat, Si Enteng and Me.”

Ai-Ai, on the other hand, will be doing the Star Cinema movie “Sisteraka” with comedian Vice Ganda and Queen of All Media Kris Aquino.

“It’s always healthy and friendly competition. Tayo tayo lang dito, magkukumpetensiya pa ba tayo,” Vic said.

Vic said Ai-Ai personally informed him that she cannot do a movie this year with him and Bong because of issues with her contract.

Kami ni Ai-Ai kahit anong mangyari, nagkakaintindihan kami. Madaling kausap si Ai-Ai, madali din akong kausap. Sinabi niya na di pwede ngayon, okay yun,” he said.

Vic added that he doesn’t mind if his movie will come second in this year’s box-office returns as long as they fulfilled Agimat and Enteng Kabisote’s aim, which to entertain and deliver quality flick to the Filipino audience.

Kahit number two kami ay okay lang ang importante kumita lahat. Natatiyambahan lang na laging top grosser,” he said.

The 2012 MMFF will kick off on Christmas day. (MNS)
