(Relaxnews) – Disney has released the first trailer for this sports drama, set between the worlds of Indian cricket and American baseball.

“Mad Men” star Jon Hamm plays a baseball talent agent close to bankruptcy. In a last-ditch effort to turn his career around, he comes up with a wild challenge: to find the first US major league baseball player from India through a talent competition there.

Lake Bell, Alan Arkin, Bill Paxton, and “Life of Pi” star Suraj Sharma also appear in the trailer for “Million Dollar Arm,” inspired by the true story of J.B. Bernstein. Australian director Craig Gillespie (“Lars and the Real Girl”) helmed the feature, based on a screenplay by Tom McCarthy (“The Visitor”, “Up”).

Presented as an inspirational story on emigration, pushing one’s limits and friendship, “Million Dollar Arm” will arrive in US theaters on May 16.
