LOS ANGELES— Search to Involve Pilipino Americans (SIPA) is partnering with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health to host a toy giveaway event at
Unidad Park in historic Filipinotown on Saturday, December 10th, from 10 am to 1 pm.
This free, family-friendly event will provide toys, prizes, and food for attendees and
offer important health resources, encouraging caregivers to get their children
vaccinated. In addition to these activities, there will be performances by pop and soul artist Madima and magician Dre Magix!

“We’re so excited to be hosting an event like this in our community,” said Kimmy
Maniquis, SIPA’s Executive Director. “It provides a safe environment for families to
have fun while getting vital information about public health programs,” Maniquis
added that the event is part of their larger mission to engage with and empower
members of historic Filipinotown.
