Sunshine Cruz does not see anything wrong if she finds new love.

Three years after her separation from estranged husband Cesar Montano, the “Dolce Amore” actress said that they both deserve happiness.

Cruz admitted that she had suitors before but decided not to entertain anyone because she has not found the right one.

“Sana nga meron kaya lang wala pang naglalakas loob. Meron naman na naglalakas loob pero hindi ko type. Pag hindi mo type ang isang tao and at this age, hindi mo na papatagalin kasi hindi ka naman na teenager e,” she said.

The actress added: “Magiging sinungalin ako kung sasabihin ko na walang nanliligaw, meron naman. Pero wala pa akong napupusuan talaga. Kung sakali naman, it’s been three years and we deserve to be happy. I deserve to be love.”

Cruz said that even though her 13-year marriage with Montano did not work out, she never became jaded on matters of the heart.

“It’s a good feeling to be in love, napakamasarap ma in love. Hindi ako mata-trauma sa pagkakataon na ‘yun. I just think I haven’t found the right one.”

Aside from not finding the right one, what is stopping the actress to commit are her three children.

She said that even though her daughters are supportive of her job and personal life, her main priority is still her family.

“Since isang taon pa lang akong hiwalay, they’ve been telling me to date already pero wala pa akong mai-date. They’ve been very, very supportive and they understand the situation.”

“It is really tough for me. Sanay ako na maging dependent. It’s hard but it’s a challenge for me. Alam ko naman na nagagawa ko lahat ng kailangan ng mga anak ko.”

Cruz is still hopeful that her annulment from Montano will be granted soon.

“I know and I believe that I deserve freedom and to be loved. Bago man ako mag 40, sana malaya na ako from all this,” she ended. (MNS)
