Pierce Brosnan is joining the cast of Scott Mann’s action-thriller “Final Score.”

He will join “Guardians of the Galaxy” actor Dave Bautista on the project, along with Alexandra Dinu (“Red Valentine,” “Island”) and Julian Cheung (“The Grandmaster”).

The story takes place at a major sporting event when the stadium is suddenly seized by a group of heavily armed criminals demanding ransom. An ex-soldier must not only use all his military training to save the 35,000 capacity crowd, but also the daughter of his fallen comrade.

The main location for the film will be Upton Park Stadium in East London — famous as the home of Premier League soccer club West Ham United for over 100 years.

Filming is due to start in August.
