(Relaxnews) – While Nike fans continually scoop up Free and Flyknit running shoes, here’s a fresh take on an original — the company just unveiled a 30th anniversary edition of one of the moved loved running sneakers of all time, the Nike Air Pegasus.

While the style remains true to its original form, runners can enjoy modernized perks, such as Nike Zoom springy cushioning in the heel and no-sew overlays for a seamless interior. An internal heel counter wraps the back of the foot and a Fitsole sockliner helps conform to the shape of the foot. A reflective skin under the upper helps keep runners visible in low-light conditions.

Plus Nike has enlisted the aid of no less than world champion distance runner and longtime Pegasus wearer Mo Farah to hype the shoes. “Pegasus is one of my favorite shoes,” he said in a Nike press release. “It’s really important to have a training shoe that’s very well cushioned, as light as possible, but gives you that support you need.”

The Nike Air Pegasus+ 30 is available on at €110.

Meanwhile, fans of the popular Saucony Kinvara 4 can sport a new hot pink and neon yellow colorway, while New Balance offers a futuristic vibe with its new Minimus Hi-Rez, a lightweight, ultra-minimal barefoot runner.
