MANILA – A total of 3,904 aspirants in next year’s midterm elections have registered their social media accounts with the Commission on Elections (Comelec).
These consist of 24 senatorial bets, 3,775 local aspirants, and 105 representatives of party-list organizations based on the latest data as of Dec. 4.
Of the figure, 2,096 aspirants submitted hard copies.
At the same time, the Comelec reminded all political aspirants and parties, as well as party-list organizations that the deadline for the registration is on Dec. 13.
“Seven days to go before the last day to register online campaign platforms,” it said in a social media post on Friday.
Comelec Resolution 11064 states all candidates, party-list organizations, and political parties intending to participate in the May 2025 polls are required to register their online campaign platforms, such as all official social media accounts and pages, websites, podcasts, blogs, vlogs, and other online and Internet-based campaign platforms.
Under the guidelines, all applicants must transmit the hard copies of all documents they have submitted online.

For hard copies, applicants must submit them to the Comelec – Education and Information Department (c/o Task Force KKK sa Halalan) at the Palacio Del Gobernador Building in Intramuros, Manila. (PNA)
