(Relaxnews) – The star of “The Americans” has just boarded the Weinstein Company’s upcoming feature set against the backdrop of the French gourmet restaurant scene.

Currently untitled, the movie is headlined by Bradley Cooper as Adam Jones, a Paris-based chef who is trying desperately to earn his third Michelin star.

Welsh actor Matthew Rhys, who has earned high praise from critics for his performance on FX’s spy drama “The Americans,” has signed on to play a rival chef who stands in Jones’s way.

Sienna Miller, Uma Thurman, Emma Thompson, Lily James, Daniel Bruhl and Omar Sy are also in the cast.

Previously titled “Chef,” the feature was forced to change its name due to Jon Favreau’s film of the same name, which starred Scarlett Johansson and was released in May.

Production has already begun on the movie, which is helmed by John Wells (“The Company Men,” “August: Osage County”) from a screenplay by Steven Knight.
