(Relaxnews) – L’Oréal has joined the trend for hair chalking with a line-up of fun temporary colors designed to mimic the way women change their nail polish.
The colors are applied to hair as a liquid, then dry to a powdery finish. The product washes out with shampoo, and the colors can be mixed to provide additional creative options. It’s all designed to offer a short-term way to change your look.
“It allows us to go toward younger women, women who love changes, who aren’t necessarily [attracted to coloring],” L’Oréal’s Ségolène de Noray explained to WWD.
Hitting stores in Europe in mid-November, the Hair Chalk is set for a March 2014 roll-out in the United States. The product will then appear in Asia (apart from China) by midway through next year.
The range features pink, violet, blue, green, coral, bronze, coffee and black priced at €25 each.
