The brand inspired by fairy tales pushes femininity to the extreme with its latest fragrance for women. So Sweet is aimed at nonchalant and extravagant women, who are at ease with their femininity and live life to the full.
Launched last season, Sweet Kiss was aimed at sensual, seductive and ultra-glamorous women with an indulgent streak. This indulgence is also a theme of So Sweet, although it aims to be a little more frivolous, targeting women who are a tad more defiant, vivacious and charming.
This new eau de parfum is the work of perfumers Anne Flipo (who created Yves Saint Laurent’s Manifesto and Paco Rabanne’s Lady Million) and Caroline Dumur of IFF, who have come up with a fragrance with a celebratory feel.
As with the original version, the scent of cherries is in the mix, but it has been reworked to give a hint of zest.
So Sweet opens with juicy cherry, mandarin and raspberry leaf, followed by heart notes of iris, rose and angelica. The base is a sensual, indulgent bouquet of whipped musk and cashmeran.
“We’ve reworked the cherry, the cornerstone of the first fragrance, by giving it a little more acidity…. The zesty, indulgent bite of a cherry gives way to a soft and charming heart and base … each of the notes oscillates cheekily between a caress and a bite” its creators say.
The eau de parfum will be available from July priced at €48 for 30ml and €86 for 80ml.
