(Relaxnews) – Five years after “Adventureland,” the two young actors will be reunited on the set of the forthcoming action comedy “American Ultra.”

Recently seen in “Now You See Me,” Jesse Eisenberg will play the protagonist, a young pothead whose life is turned upside down one evening when he realizes the government has plans to take him out, The Hollywood Reporter indicates.

Kristen Stewart will play the character’s girlfriend, who gets swept up in his efforts to escape capture by government operatives. The screenplay for “American Ultra” was penned by Max Landis, son of director John Landis and screenwriter behind the critically acclaimed film “Chronicle” (2012).

The feature will be directed by Nima Nourizadeh, the British filmmaker behind “Project X” (2012), a comedy about a house party that gets out of hand. Nourizadeh will begin shooting the film in April 2014.
