After portraying protagonist roles in her previous television shows, Kim Rodriguez will try her hand on a new role, and for the first time as a “kontrabida” in the newest GMA afternoon show.
The pretty actress admitted that it’s not easy to portray a kontrabida, underscoring the need for intense emotion in majority of the scenes.
“Sobrang hirap pala ng maging kontrabida,” Kim said.
But despite of her worries, Kim is still glad that she was given a chance to portray different roles and for her to show her versatility as an actress.
“Mas okay sa akin. Mas challenging sa akin. Nakikita kasi yung ibang side ngpag-arte ko.”
Kim is part of the series “Hanggang Makita kang Muli” that talks about the life of one feral child who was isolated from human contact at a very young age, and had only little experience of human care, behavior, or even human language.
The series is headlined by the much anticipated team up of Derrick Monasterio and Bea Binene.
Kim plays the role of Claire, Calvin’s (Derrick) socialite girlfriend. While Derrick, who is also present during the pocket press conference also shared his dream role.
“I want to play a psychotic guy kasi dun super mapaglalaruan mo yung role.
On the other hand, the two Kapuso stars are thankful on how the network took care of their respective careers.
Kim added that she will remain to be a loyal artist to her home network even if there are offers from other networks.
(MNS)
