(Relaxnews) – Discovered during the US’s run of workplace comedy “The Office,” Andy Buckley is participating in the fourth entry to the dinosaur franchise started in 1993.
Buckley joins Omar Sy, Bryce Dallas Howard, Chris Pratt, Vincent D’Onofrio and Irrfan Khan in facing up to Universal Pictures’ selection of dinos.
Colin Trevorrow (of Sundance’s 2012 prize-winning comedy “Safety Not Guaranteed”) is directing, with Stephen Spielberg attached as an executive producer.
Andy Buckley is well known for his turn as David Wallace on the American version of “The Office,” working under Steve Carell’s Michael Scott.
He has also appeared in “Bridesmaids,” the Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg action comedy “The Other Guys,” and “The Heat,” starring Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy.
“Jurassic World”, filmed in 3D, is due for general release mid-2015.
