Jericho soap airs in Peru
Jericho Rosales is going places – particularly South America.
Currently making waves in Peru is his starrer retitled “Puentes De Amor,” which originally aired in the Philippines as “Bridges Of Love.”
The soap, also starring Paulo Avelino and Maja Salvador, has been acquired for syndication in South America early this year by 7A Media, a company involved in international media sales, including co-productions and specialized consultations.
“This thing right now (that) is happening for us, for me, is opening doors para sa mga actors natin here in the Philippines,” he said.
It’s not the first time a series starring Jericho made it to foreign shores.
“Pangako Sa’yo” co-starring his erstwhile girlfriend Kristine Hermosa was adapted in 2012 by the Cambodian Television Network (CTN) with the help of film production company Khmer Mekong Films (KMF).
His 2014 drama series “The Legal Wife” also aired in Indonesia, Kenya, Nigeria, and Tanzania.
Another of his series, “Dahil May Isang Ikaw,” was shown in Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and UAE.
Jericho is working on a new soap dubbed “Never Ever Say Goodbye
