“The whole album is about a dream. It started with a dream about a guy falling in love with a girl. Alam mo ‘yon kapag sinabi mong stellar, constellation, stars, kapag nagdi-dream ka at night, hindi ba you look up at the stars, tapos you dream. So basically ‘yun siya,” de Vera said.

De Vera, who comes from a musically inclined family, admitted that he realized that he can sing just “a few years ago,” when he had to record a medley of Eraserheads songs for his mall shows.

“Every time na naririnig ko ‘yung ni-record ko, sabi ko pwede. Every time na I sing ‘yung medley na ‘yon sa mga mall shows ay natutuwa naman ang mga tao at nae-enjoy ko siya. At everytime may ‘ASAP,’ may leading men prod eh napapasabak ako sa recording, kakanta ako, maganda naman ‘yung kinakalabasan niya,”he said.

“Since I transfered, nabigyan ako ng opportunity na mapakinggan. I guess hindi lang ako confident enough before na kumanta kasi nga di naman tayo nabibigyan ng opportunity na ganito,” he added.

Included in the actor’s debut album are duets with Jessy Mendiola (“Nabihag”) and Lovie Poe (“One Night, One Kiss”). Other tracks include “Heaven Knows (This Angel Has Flown),” “Pakiusap,” “Galaxy of Love” and the carrier single “Langit Na Rin.” (MNS)
