Kapamilya actor John Prats is relishing the challenge of fatherhood as he tries to find the right balance between his career and his young family.

The 32-year-old Prats opened up about the little changes in his life since his wife Isabel Oli gave birth, saying that now that he has baby Feather, he finds himself working a tad harder.

So ibang-iba iyong pakiramdam, iyong responsibility, iyong work ethics ko. Dati ang hirap ko gisingin, ngayon isang iyak niya lang, gising ako,” he said.

Prats said he is also grateful that Oli had a safe delivery. “Sobrang happy na ako ngayon na sobrang healthy and safe yung delivery ng wife ko,” he said.

“Kasi yung transition from day one na [ang wish mo lang ay] sana lima yung daliri ng anak ko to sana kumpleto at healthy siya at walang kumplikasyon.

Prats admitted that having a baby daughter makes him more emotional.

According to Prats, he wants two more kids with Oli, who will be turning 35 on her next birthday. “Siguro it’s about time na sunod-sunurin na namin. We don’t have that privilege na maghintay pa ng another year,” he said.

Prats was speaking at a press conference for his upcoming film “Diyos-Diyosan,” wherein he plays an iron-fisted politician. He said the film is “politcally-motivated,” but denied that it pertains to a particular candidate.

“Walang isang taong pinapatamaan.

Directed by Cesar Buendia, the film also stars Princess Punzalan, Cheska Diaz, Tirso Cruz III and Kiko Estrada. It was released on May 4. (MNS)
