(Relaxnews) – On February 4, the world commemorates World Cancer Day, with the focus this year on dispelling misconceptions about the disease.

73rd ISPO
February 3-6
Munich, Germany

ISPO is one of the biggest events in the world for sports goods manufacturers and suppliers. Over 2,000 exhibitors are participating in 2013, and the event expects to draw more than 80,000 visitors from over 100 countries. The event features an ISPO Healthstyle expo center, as well as sections devoted to eco-friendly products and snow sports. In 2012, a sister event happened in Beijing, as did an ISPO Bike expo. ISPO Beijing will also take place February 27-March 2, and ISPO Bike is set for July 25-28. http://www.ispo.com


World Cancer Day

Backed by the World Health Organization, this annual event helps to raise awareness about cancer. Events take place all over the world, and the focus of this year’s event is dispelling damaging myths and misconceptions about cancer.

BioFach & Vivaness
February 13-16
Exhibition Centre, Nuremberg, Germany

BioFach is the oldest and largest trade fair dedicated to organic products, and in 2013 it continues to extend from food products into holistic health and wellness through its partnership with the Vivaness event. BioFach and Vivaness expect to attract some 45,000 visitors in an exhibition space of 89,000 m2. The event has a global presence with events in Shanghai, Sao Paulo, Tokyo, Bangalore, and Baltimore.

Wanderlust
Chile – February 15-17
Oahu, Hawaii, USA – February 28 – March 3

Wanderlust is one of the biggest yoga parties on the planet and is expanding this year to Chile and Hawaii. The fifth annual headlining event will take place on the peaks of Squaw Valley over the summer and expects to draw more than 5,000 yogi partiers, and the event has expanded again to include a two-day retreat in Vermont, US. Other events take place in Colorado and Whistler in Canada.

GSMA Mobile World Congress

GSMA Mobile World Congress, a four-day event dedicated to cutting-edge mobile technology, will feature a GSMA Mobile Health program, focusing on remote monitoring, wellness, and assisted living technologies. A full program of conferences, keynotes, and panel discussions runs alongside an exhibition of the hottest new products and concept designs from the top mobile companies in the field. In 2012, more than 67,000 industry members from 200 countries attended the event.

Natural Products Expo West

Now in its 33rd year, the Natural Products Expo West is one of the largest natural, organic and healthy products trade shows and conventions in the world, alongside Vivaness, with more than 55,000 industry professional attending last year’s event. More than 3,000 exhibits from over 1,900 different companies showcase the newest products in natural and specialty foods, organic, health and beauty, natural living, supplements and pet products. Its sister show, the 27th Natural Products Expo East, runs September 25-28, in Baltimore, Maryland. Natural Products Expo Asia, in its 11th year in 2013, is being held in Hong Kong August 29-31.
