(Relaxnews) – On Friday, November 9, Google+ users are getting excited about the first trailer for Brad Pitt’s new filmWorld War Z and debating the merits of Instagram’s new “profiles” feature.
The first trailer for World War Z has hit the web, causing much buzz on Google. World War Z, due out next year, stars Brad Pitt as UN worker Gerry Lane, who must save his family, and the world, from a zombie epidemic that is sweeping the world. The film is based upon the book by Max Brooks and is directed by Marc Forster of Finding Neverlandand Monster’s Ball fame.
Google+ users are discussing World War Z under the trending topic “Brad Pitt” and seem to be, in general, reacting positively to the trailer, which can be watched atyoutube.com/watch?v=HcwTxRuq-uk.
Also causing a stir is the now-Facebook-owned image-sharing and editing service Instagram. The popular service has recently sparked controversy after rolling out user profiles, laid out in a similar fashion to profiles on Facebook but featuring a collage of the user’s Instagram images at the bottom rather than one large image at the top of the profile. Viewers of other Instagram users’ profiles can “like” or comment on their photos and see basic information about the user.
However the change has caused controversy as any Instagram user will be able to see all the images in any other user’s account, unless that account is set to private. Images posted by users who have a private account will only be viewable by those whom that user has approved to “follow” them.
