(Relaxnews) – If DVDs, television shows and best-selling books weren’t enough, famed American fitness trainer Jillian Michaels is expanding her empire to a new series of group classes dubbed BodyShred, which just launched at Crunch gyms in the US.
The class is a fast-paced 30-minute workout that offers “a scientific, metabolic training approach to achieve a strong, sexy body,” Michaels stated in a press release. The goal: to get you in the “sickest shape possible, at an accelerated pace.”
According to fitness blog Well + Good NYC, each exercise is performed for 30 seconds, with the moves “arranged into interval circuits based on Michaels’ 3-2-1 system: three minutes of strength, two minutes of cardio, and one minute of abs.”
Plus expect “killer moves” you’ve likely never tried before, along with plenty of “burpees, lunges, and kick-butt plyometrics,” explains Well + Good NYC. Plus the moves change every time you take the class, so that your body never adapts to the exercises and you’re always challenging yourself in new ways.
BodyShred will be offered at Crunch locations including New York City, Los Angeles, Miami, and San Francisco.
