On Monday, the European Broadcasting Union announced that Logo, a Viacom-owned channel, amed at the LBGT community, will be showing the 61st annual European Song Contest, live at 3pm EST on Saturday, May 14.
The Eurovision Song Contest is a competition where competing countries put forward a group or a solo artist with an original song. Each performance is scored by both a group of judges from each country competing as well as by the public, via telephone, SMS or the official Eurovision app during the show.
In recent years the competition has expanded to include countries beyond official European borders such as Israel and Australia.
