DOT Chief vows to continue annual staging of Madrid Fusion Manila

MANILA (Mabuhay) – Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Vitaliano N. Aguirre II is meticulously studying the possible action of the DOJ in connection with the five police general allegedly involved in the multibillion-peso illegal drugs operations in the country.
Aguirre said that one of the things he is looking at is the possibility of placing the alleged narco generals in the look out bulletin (LOB).
He added that as of Friday, his legal team was still continuously studying the correct process for such an action.
Likewise, the DOJ Secretary gave assurances that once they make a decision to place such generals in the LOB, he would immediately order the Bureau of Immigration (BI) to implement already the LOB.
During the 69th anniversary celebration of the Philippines Air Force (PAF) held at Clark, Mabalacat City, Pampanga last Tuesday, President Rodrigo R. Duterte publicly named the five generals who are allegedly protectors of drug syndicates in the country.
They are former National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Director Joel Pagdilao; former Region VI Police Director Bernardo Diaz; former Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director Edgardo Tinio; retired Deputy Director General Marcelo Garbo Jr.; and retired Gen. Vicente Loot.
Loot was elected mayor of Daanbantayan, Cebu in the May 9 elections. (MNS)
