(Relaxnews) – The second trailer for Kenneth Branagh’s feature starring Cate Blanchett, Lily James, Richard Madden and Helena Bonham Carter has hit the internet.

“Cinderella” is one of several Disney animated classics the studio is rebooting as a live action movie. Following Tim Burton’s 2010 reimagining of “Alice in Wonderland,” Kenneth Branagh (“The Ryan Initiative,” “Thor”) will soon reveal his version of “Cinderella,” which is due to hit US theaters March 13.

“The Jungle Book” will undergo the same treatment. A remake combining animation and live action is to be helmed by John Favreau (“Iron Man”) and is scheduled to open in April 2016.

“Cinderella” reprises the plot of the original fairy tale and centers on Bella, a beautiful young woman who has been mistreated by her stepmother and stepsisters since the death of her father. One day, on a walk in the forest, she crosses paths with a prince and begins to dream of a different life.

Lily James stars as Cinderella/Bella, co-starring with Cate Blanchett as her stepmother Lady Tremaine, Helena Bonham Carter as her fairy godmother and Richard Madden as the Prince Kit.
