MANILA (Mabuhay) — TV personality Diego Loyzaga, the son of actor Cesar Montano, who was allegedly involved in mauling two men at a posh Taguig City club last Sunday asked for patience as his camp has yet issue a statement on the incident.
“I’d like to kindly ask for your patience regarding the issue involving me right now. A statement from our party will be released soon,” he said in a post on his Twitter account on Monday.
Fellow actor Julian Estrada, meanwhile, has defended Loyzaga, saying that “he wouldn’t do something like that.”
Two brothers, Wilmer Paolo and Wilmer Angelo Lopez, were allegedly beaten up by a group led by Loyzaga early Sunday morning outside the Palace Pool Club along 9th Avenue corner 36th Street in Bonifacio Global City.
Their sister said the incident started when the then intoxicated Loyzaga hugged the girlfriend of one of the Lopez brothers. Both brothers sustained multiple injuries after they were allegedly kicked and punched by Loyzaga’s group. (MNS)
