DAVAO CITY – The Police Regional Office-Davao (PRO-11) reported on Friday that its personnel successfully served 449 warrants of arrest in May.

Among the total number of individuals apprehended, 131 were identified as most wanted persons, Brig. General Leon Victor Rosete, PRO-11 director, said in a statement.

“This significant accomplishment reflects the dedication of our men and women in uniform to ensure the safety and security of every community in the region,” he said.

Rosete said the achievement aligns with the marching orders of Philippine National Police Chief General Nicolas Torre III, who emphasizes swift and responsive public service under his five-minute response directive.

“Each arrest is a step closer to a safer Davao. Let us continue working together, not only to enforce the law but to rebuild public trust and bring justice to victims,” he said.

Moreover, Rosete assured the public that the campaign against criminals will remain robust, with intensified efforts planned for the coming months, particularly through increased police visibility in communities. (PNA)
