The announcement will be good news for fans of the beloved Larry David comedy, with the show lasting airing an original episode back in September 2011.

First premiering as a special in 1999, the show starred David as an exaggerated, alter-ego version of himself, and proved to be a hit with both viewers and critics, earning 39 Emmy nominations in total, although surprisingly only two wins.

A formal return date has not yet been released.
