(Relaxnews) – There’s a cookie that claims to boost your brain power, a biscuit that claims to help with a hangover, and even the ‘Chocolate Chip Nookie’ to help with sexy time in the boudoir.

Created by The Cookie Department in Berkeley, California by a lone entrepreneur and baker, a quintet of cookies pull double duty when it comes to satisfying those 3pm cravings — physical and otherwise.

For example, creator Akiva Resnikoff claims his Chocolate Chip Nookie made with a root called maca can increase “vitality” in both men and women.

Described as Peru’s natural Viagra, maca is used in South America to increase strength, energy, stamina, libido and sexual function.

It’s just one of the many new and innovative natural and organic health products to be showcased at the 32nd annual Natural Products Expo West show which kicks off this week.

In addition to Resnikoff’s brain-boosting, energy-packed cookie range, Snap Back, which launched in January, is a gingersnap biscuit infused with cayenne pepper, cloves and molasses, said to be helpful detox agents when nursing a hangover.

The Awaken Baked, meanwhile, is made with organic coffee, chocolate chips and sea salt and contains the equivalent of one cup of coffee, while the Great Full is a vegan oatmeal cookie packed with sweet potatoes and cranberries, both of which are said to be high in antioxidants to make for one smart cookie.

Here are a few other new and innovative products spotlighted by the editors of New Hope 360, an industry publication and Expo West partner:

Harmless Harvest: Ethically sourced coconut water
Sourced from small, organic farms, the raw coconut water is treated under high pressure, without heat, to make the product shelf-stable and also allow it to retain flavor and nutrients.

The Bear and the Rat: Bacon Peanut Barker
Bacon ice cream: it’s not just for humans anymore. Free of artificial colors, flavors, sugar, salt and preservatives, the frozen yogurt dessert for canine friends comes in flavors like Banana Peanut Barker and Bacon Peanut Barker.

Dolphin Organics: Baby body care products
Made with organic ingredients like aloe leaf juice and jojoba seed oil, Dolphin Organics offers baby care products like organic body wash, baby shampoo, conditioner, bubble bath and baby lotion.

The 32nd annual Natural Products Expo West show runs March 8 to 11 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California.
