CNN to examine the 90s in new documentary series

CNN has revealed it is adding “The Nineties” to its decades-apart documentary series.

Following its recent series “The Sixties,” “The Seventies” and “The Eighties,” the channel will explore the major events of the last decade of the 20th century through an eight-part series, Variety reports. Issues such as the impeachment of President Bill Clinton and the development of the internet will be covered.

The series will be executive produced by producers Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman, alongside HBO and producer Mark Herzog.
