Kapamilya star Bea Alonzo is overwhelmed as her reunion movie with John Lloyd Cruz, “A Second Chance”, earned a whopping P100 million in just three days.
“I prayed na sana maraming makapanood, na sana maraming maka-appreciate at sana maraming matuwa sa fans ni Popoy at Basha. Overwhelming ‘yung feeling namin. All overwhelmed sa reception ng tao, we did not expect na it would be this big,” she said.
“Ang sarap ng feeling, hindi ko ma-explain, nagbunga ‘yung hard work,” she added. “Ang sarap kasi napakalapit sa puso namin ‘yung project, tapos ganon ‘yung effect sa mga tao so siguro ‘yung love na ibinigay namin sa trabaho namin, ibinalik nila, so iba ‘yung feeling.”
“A Second Chance” is the sequel of the highly popular 2007 movie “One More Chance”, which tells the story of Popoy (Cruz) and Basha (Alonzo).
When asked if she is open to doing a third installment of the movie following the success of “A Second Chance”, Alonzo replied: “Yes!”
“Na-excite ako. Actually, kahit hindi pa lumalabas ‘yung first day namin, naiisip ko na ‘yun eh noong napanood ko pa lang sa premiere night ‘yung ‘A Second Chance’. While doing it nahirapan kami pero naisip ko ‘yung ganito kagandang material, dapat magkaroon pa ng third eh.
“Parang marami pa siyang pwedeng puntahan. Pero siguro after eight years ulit,” she ended. (MNS)
