In a statement on Friday, the NBI said the suspects, Do Yang Zhe, also known as Ouyang Zhe, and Hu Yong were arrested during a rescue operation in a condominium hotel located at Cuneta Ave., Pasay City on Sept. 15.

The operation stemmed from a complaint received by the NBI-NCR against “alias Boss Yong” after a complainant sought assistance for the immediately rescue a certain Mr. Yi, who was being unlawfully deprived of his liberty.

The complainant executed his sworn statement and submitted screenshots of distress messages, pictures, and the victim’s location.

The NBI traced the location of the victim on the 3rd floor of the said hotel and conducted the rescue operation.
