MANILA – The Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Tuesday said a truck of F2 Logistics Philippines, Inc., its service provider for the May 12 polls, fell off a cliff in Cagayan de Oro, killing one person.
In a message, Comelec Chairperson George Garcia said the truck came from Bukidnon after delivering election paraphernalia when the accident happened.
“A truck belonging to our provider fell off a cliff on its way back to Cagayan de Oro after delivering election paraphernalia to Bukidnon,” Garcia said.
“It happened in Upper Puerto, CDO. One person from F2 died.”
F2 Logistics Philippines bagged the multi-million contract for the deployment of equipment, peripherals, forms, supplies, and paraphernalia in the 2025 midterm elections. (PNA)
